The focus of my work remains in line with perception of the visable world. Regardless of my point of view, or yours, our world materializes through form and color. I explore manipulations of perceived space.
My multi-disciplinary body of work is an interpretation of physical space and color provoking the viewer towards an detailed interpretation. For me space is malleable and there for interpretation, begging to be fused with color. My paintings and sculptures emerge from very personal, intimate interpretation of space and color, giving voice to current and past experiences. I use line and stripes to signify horizons and coordinate lines as well as separation marks.
On canvas, these personal experiences become intimate records of memory. My sculptures are a continuation of abstracting reality using a variety of materials that enter a more physical space with the human body. My sculptures are more of marks reflecting aspects of space.
